   In settings tab of wordpress blog, URL is an editable field. But this should be shown as a read-only field. I changed this url and whole blog pages where throwing HTTP 404 - page not found. Finally I had to go to blog database and change the URL value back to original.... This was in wp_option table if I remember it correctly.

   It has to be changeable so you can move your blog.

   It just should have a big read warning: DON'T TOUCH IT, if you have no clue what will happen :)
