Hi guys. It seems that no one can see the comment form and thus cannot post comments on my blog unless they are logged in. I’m using the latest (as of now) version of WordPress 2.6.3, and I’ve checked the settings under Settings–>Discussion, which are as follows:

    Default article settings
    – everything turned ON, including: Attempt to notify any blogs linked to from the article (slows down posting.); Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks.); Allow people to post comments on the article

    Before a comment appears
    – first two options turned ON, i.e. An administrator must always approve the comment; Comment author must fill out name and e-mail
    – last option turned OFF, i.e. Comment author must have a previously approved comment

Is there someplace else in the template or WordPress Admin that might be causing this issue? The site is located at: http://www.steveatwal.com

    Cheers
    Steve

  • i have checked your blog and it seems you have enabled ‘Users must be registered and logged in to comment’ option under settings->General Settings.

you have to uncheck this option to allow public users to post a comments.
