Strikethrough is working perfectly in my blog posts, but will not show up on my front page in my recent posts excerpt. Does anyone have any idea why this is? Thanks!

Read the documentation about the_excerpt in the Codex.

Posted 1 year ago #Ok. I figured out that if I need to retain formatting, I need to just put the code into the "Excerpt" box for the post. Bummer that there is an extra step, but it worked.

Or, you can find a plugin in the Extend section that lets you customize the excerpt.
