• So, we run a bunch of WordPress installs on our server along side of our main CMS (Cascade Server). Until recently, we were running a very old version of WordPress because it was the only one that didn’t give us the following problem, but due to a recent scare, we’ve had to upgrade everything.

We have the problem that, unless you are logged into the admin of the blog in question, all you see is white space where the blog should be. It doesn’t happen with all our blogs, and everyone seems to see different ones as working and not working. For example:
    http://southshorenow.ca/blogs/tina/index.php

How these indexes are built are that we make a page in the CMS with the WordPress index code in the middle where the blog should appear. We have very very basic themes to just insert the bulk of the content in the dead centre of our main site layout.

I personally have no idea what is causing this problem, but it happens between two different computers (one Mac and one PC). This problem also happens when someone accesses the page using Safari on the Mac.

Any idea on what is causing this issue and how we can fix it?

We’re still having this issue. It’s not a logical problem either, cause in some browsers, sometimes only a few work while sometimes all work except the few. We’ve had people check on two different days and have this been the case.

I really don’t understand the issue.

I was having this same problem today. I created a new page which contained an include for a PHP file. The code drew from a url string passed by the previous page, to populate form values. I thought everything was working fine.

Then, a user reported they could not sign up. I tested it in Firefox and it worked fine. Then I tested it in Safari: blank content area. At first, I thought it was the browser. Then I realized, it was that I was logged in in Firefox, and was not logged in through Safari.

I had neglected to publish the page. Midzilla probably didn’t make the same mistake. But, you may have this problem if you’re looking at this post… I did.
