Curious if there's a way to change which post/page that an attachment or media is attached to, or if this is planned for 2.7? I noticed that unattached media can be attached, but it doesn't look like they can be changed afterwards.
I checked and I don't think this has been covered yet?

i had like a scenario where images can be tagged and they can be included using tags... an image attached to a post is very limiting.

In 2.7 image handling is not changing much, as 2.8 will roll out more media management features. You can add an item from your media library to another post in the Flash uploader by clicking the Media Library tab, as in 2.6, but there won't be anything like you describe using tags in this release.
