   I have tried several bookmarking plugins and I haven't found one yet that generates valid code. Can anyone recommend one that validates?

   It also has some JS effects (I don’t use them).

   The JS effects are sort of silly, but it does exactly what I want when they are disabled. And yes, it validates.

   It took me a while to find one that validated and which I could strip down to bare essentials (I’ve also emptied its stylesheet).

   I’m glad I could share my discovery. :-)
