   I promise not to ask how to increase my SEO rankings. I've seen quite a few posts on that.

   My question is this: Why is it no matter what I post on my Wordpress.org blog, it never shows up on a blog search. Period. Yet, with free blogs I've had in the past, from Wordpress.com to Blogger, it instantly
   shows up. Sup with that?

   Yes, I've added my blog to Technorati, etc. I've even notified Google's blog pinging service that I exist. Still, nothing I do can compete with a free blog service as far as showing up on the blog radar. I don't get it.

   My blog, which is new, is timwaller.com.

   Thanks for any insight you can offer.

   good content
   robots.txt
   sitemap (google)
   good linking that allows robots to crawl deep into the sight

   Have you checked your Privacy setting?
