I use Ecto to manage multiple blogs and write remotely. The posts that I upload aren't being tweeted - if I write from within WP directly, it works, but writing from Ecto doesn't. I've tried other clients as well, and no client will trigger a tweet upon upload.
Is anyone using Twitter Tools successfully using a remote writing client? If not, does anyone know of a WP/Twitter plugin that will work?

It doesn't work right now for Twitter Tools (requires a box to be checked in the WP admin) - might in the future.

Hi,
I actually get my Ecto twitter tool to work sporadically so it's something with Twitter, I think, or Snow Leopard or something that I can't determine. Alex, are you saying that you think there is a setting in WP that should make it work, or are you talking about the Twitter plugin in WP (and not in Ecto) that works when you make an entry from the WP admin?
