I am planning an event and I’m using WordPress to blog an internal blog mapped to a domain site.

I know the current WordPress set up can add more than one user/guest usersbut I haven’t tried it yet.

Once I added someone from the community (New users who signed up) how do they find the blog I want them to post on?

I also heard about the multi-user version of WordPress but it doesn’t seem very easy to set up.

I’ve only used WordPress to set up a blog for myself so not sure how this is done.

    Thanks

  • I don’t understand you at the following insertion.

    >how do they find the blog I want them to post on?

Anyway, you may probably want to explore ‘roles’ and assign them to Editors, Authors, Contributors…

No what I mean is after they’re invited on WordPress and added as a user on my blog do they just need to login to their own account and just find my blog?

    >after they’re invited on WordPress

You mean, after they’re invited to a WordPress blog hosted at your own domain? Or are you talking about one at WordPress.com?

I mean one hosted at an existing domain I already have (Not on WordPress).
Don’t think I need to get another one.

    Thanks

In that case, the answer to

    >do they just need to login to their own account and just find my blog?

    is yes.
