Can I apply a CSS class using the WYSIWYG editor? (3 posts)

I know I can edit a post by switching into HTML mode and adding a CSS class to en element manually, but is there any way using the WYSIWYG editor to apply a class to selected content? For example, if I had a CSS class named highlight I could do something like <span class="highlight">text to highlight</span> manually, but being able to highlight it with the editor and apply a class would be much faster and less error prone.

One solution would be to install the TinyMCE Advanced plugin and follow the instructions on the options page.
