   The above is an example, but the problem exists on all pages. Would someone please tell me how to fix this? I did a quick search on the site and in google and turned up nothing. This text (looks like all apostrophes were replaced with ’ and maybe a few other things I can't quite see. Happened after my upgrade to 2.6.1. I am now on 2.6.2 and that didn't fix it.

   I've removed any offending plugins and that didn't help. I'm guessing that the offending extra text is now part of the WP database?

   Edit the wp-config.php and remove

   define('DB_CHARSET', 'utf8');
   define('DB_COLLATE', '');`

   see if that helps?
