Hey guys - I have just downloaded a theme titled Corporate which can be found here:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/corporate

I love the theme but... most of the background imagery is not displaying in IE6. This was happening on initial download and i havn't been able to cure it since. It's not specific to the the png files as I have saved them all as gifs but with no luck. I can't get my head round the issue.

My only other thought is its my pc which is the problem, but i havn't been able to test on IE6 on another machine.

A clean untouched version is currently at http://warrengroom.me/ if anyone has any thoughts??

    Ta muchly

You can see how it renders better in IE7. This link shows the overlay.

I bet there's a ton of resources for looking at the delta between ie6 and ie7...

    Cant blame IE6 this time

The GIF images that the conditional IE6 style sheet (ielt7.css) refer to are all white - they look nothing like the PNGs they are meant to emulate from the main style sheet.

If you're not going to change the background colour just change the 3 background PNGs to GIFs or JPEGs and remove the conditional stuff completely.

Dude, I don't know how zeniph figured it out. I just use a bigger hammer or a louder speaker to fix things.

    Hey,
I'm the author of this theme and I made an effort to make it cross-browser and it works with IE6 and IE5.5.
Unfortunately I included in the zip the wrong version of the css file that fixes the problems with IE.

I uploaded a fixed version of this theme more than a week ago but it still hasn't been reviewed. I uploaded today even a newer version with another bug fix, so I hope they'll review it ASAP so you could download the correct version.

If you would like, you can email me and I'll send it to you.
    Sorry for the trouble.

    Ori Pearl
