2.1.1 not working

    I just installed 2.1.1 and it screwed my sideblog. I use sideblog plugin By Kates Gasis. I keep few catehories seprate from my main page and now its showing all those categories 2-3 times. If I take plugin out then it shows fine. However sideblog is excellent feature and dont want to loose it. Also putting snaps etc. is screwed up while writing posts. This version has serious issues and its not even letting me roll back.

    Try doing some research at the plugin author’s site. Apparantly there are known issues with sideblog and the newest release, but there may be some fixes posted at the plugin’s original site. Sometimes even leaving your comments there about the problem can get you more focused help with the issue you’re having. (Not to say that posting here was a bad idea – just that it can’t hurt to go there either.)

    I agree, I would do so! It was just my idea that sideblog is having issues with new release, I just saw few more posts, other plugins are also creating issues. Dont know what more issues are with it, please share here in case other users are experiencing problem with 2.1.1.

    Well the thing is, the problem isn’t really with 2.1 – it’s with the plugins. If the changes to WP affected the plugins, then it’s up to the plugin authors to update them, not up to WordPress.

    The problem is that you posted your issue under “installation” when really it’s a plugin issue. *shrug*
