   I have set up a next gen gallery as a header by modifying the header.php, but want to make the slideshow a background image so that I can correctly display the menu which floats on top of the background image

   the web page is

   any help would be appreciated

   The header.php code is

   <div id="header">
   <?php if (function_exists("nggSlideshowWidget"))
   {nggSlideshowWidget(1,720,150); }?>
   <div id="nav1">

   where nav1 is the floating menu i want to be positioned over the image
