   Just upgraded to the new Adobe Flash 10 Player - now the flash mode for uploading media no longer works.

   I click the "Choose Files to Upload" button - nothing happens.

   I can use the Browser Mode just fine, so it's not that big a deal, but thought someone should know.

   Can anyone else confirm?

   We are aware of this. Adobe broke important functionality there, and there's no easy way to make it work yet.

   Current solution: Don't upgrade to Flash 10.

   Long term solution: SWFUpload is working on it, it'll likely get added to WP when they have a workable solution.

   Like I said,it's no big deal as along as I can use the browser mode.

   Hi,

   The is another simple solution. Use TWG Flash Uploader from www.tinywebgallery.com. Because there the browser windows is not opened by Javascript but by the flash directly this flash does not have any problems after updating to flash 10.

   Simply include it with an iframe wrapper.

   WordPress 2.7 contains a new version of SWFUpload, which has a workaround for the problem in Flash 10.

   Hi, Otto42,

   I am using Wordpress 2.7 but I still cannot have the upload button for flash. I have asked around, the rest of the people has not problem. I guess they are using flash 9 or lower.

   Can share the workaround solution?
