Removing BabyBlue side borders from Human Condition (8 posts)

I'm using the lovely HUMAN CONDITION template which lives here:

    http://www.alexking.org/software/wordpress/styles/sample.php?wpstyle=human_condition

I wish to lose the babyblue border color on the left and right sides. Can't figure out what it is or where. Is it an background png, or some color code in the index.php.

Still a newbie, sorry, but learning everyday. Thanks for any help, previous, current, or futuristic like--

    JH

Sorry-- to be clear, I either want to change the color or insert a pattern of some sort.

Looks to be an image, prolly bg.gif in the images folder

    It's an image:
    http://www.alexking.org/software/wordpress/styles/wp-style/human_condition/images/bg.gif
Look carefully in the top left !

Just replace that image with one of exactly the same name and WP will pick it up.
Remember to press CTRL-F5 after any changes to see them.

Figured out the color part. Just change the value in the wp-layout.css. But to insert an image for the border, like in this very forum...? Hmm...

It's the same as here, only a different size.
    Just experiment :)

I'm sure you've sorted this out by now, but just in case... the background colour is in the CSS file - it's uber easy to change. The rest of it is in fg.gif (the vertical lines on the screen) and bg.gif (the shadow on either side of the main content. If you really want to change the theme colours you need to change those images too. I used this template as the base for my site after I made one which didn't work without the BMH, and I didn't know that hack at the time... If you want a peek it's at http://www.sortroom.net
