   How do you pin an entry at top of blog w/out using a future date?

   I have one entry I want to keep on top to be seen first when a visitor goes to my homepage. This is easy to do by giving the post a "posted" date in the future. But, I want to avoid any possible confusion.

   I want to learn the technically optimum standard way to do this. I am currently using the plaintxtBlog theme

   The plugin, WP-Sticky can do that.

   Also, I believe 'sticky' will be a standard feature at the release of WordPress 2.7 (November 2008).
