2099 chracter limit

I have been trying to write a review of a notebook and it exceeds 2099 characters, but WP is not saving the whole thing. It only saves the first 2099 characters. I don’t know if it is WP or MySQL but from what I have read is that MySQL has a much higher limit than that, even at it’s lowest setting. Does anybody know why I am having this problem? My linux is very rusty but I am willing to try almost anything at this point. I really need to get this review up.
