To choose MySQL4 or MySQL5

    How MySql version affect wordpress installation. I have all my sites installed at server with php5/mysql5, and now I’m thinking of moving to Mediatemple’s greed server and their servers running MySql4. Will this change in anyway affect my wp websites?

    There’s really no difference in WordPress operation using either MySQL4 and MySQL5. You will want to probably use MySQL 4 compatibilty when ‘exporting’ that MySQL5 database via phpMyAdmin.
