   I put in my user name and password
   I then click on [ LOGIN ] and i then go
   to a 404 page what is going wrong why is it going
   to a 404 page instead of logging me into wordpress..

   The link to the site works ok [ http://www.kgkag.com this will take me to my blog..
   The link to my login page works ok [ http://www.kgkag.com/wp-login.php
   but when i try to login to admin with my password this is what comes up:

   The webpage cannot be found
   HTTP 404
   Most likely causes:
   There might be a typing error in the address.
   If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

   What you can try:
   Retype the address.

   Go back to the previous page.

   Go to and look for the information you want.

   This error (HTTP 404 Not Found) means that this program was able to connect to the website, but the page you wanted was not found. It's possible that the webpage is temporarily unavailable. Alternatively, the website might have changed or removed the webpage.

   Sounds like a file or two was messed up in the upload. Have you tried downloading a fresh copy of WP, and re-uploading the wp-admin files?

   I have downloaded a fresh copy of WP and re-uploaded the wp-admin but no good still get 404 page...
