Hi people.
I have a big file (7.5 MB) of a WXR that I Gzipped (into ~1.9 MB) , and uploaded to a new server.
The uploaded file went through fine - BUT - when it started entering the posts into place, it stopped (froze ?!) after 73 posts, and didn't continue.
Any Idea how to make it continue entering the posts into the new blog ?

Assuming that your max_file_upload is already set to allow you to import at least 7.5MB, you just run the import WordPress again.
The import screen will only show that some posts have been uploaded and will indicate new posts added to site. When that stops short of complete import, just run import again.
Just for future reference for people encountering the problem:
mercime suggestion didn't help. we does help is two things:
1) stopping as many plugins as possible, so the loading of the page won't be slowed by that.
2) I got a list of posts uploaded, and then it stopped. I then went back to the file and erased the posts that where listed that where uploaded already (they will be located between: < item > and < / item > ). and then uploading the smaller file in.
By repeating this several time, I got all of my file uploaded !
