willdonovanso i've worked with wordpress a lot, including turning it into a real estate agent website / property management website, really trying to stretch the software into a cms.
however, i've never really built myself a 'blog' sotospeak, but i'm moving to lebanon this fall and decided i should get into the practice of keeping track of what i'm doing for myself and for anyone who cares to read it.
the site is http://williamcurtisdonovan.com - i'm running a modded version of the upsilon theme which makes use of smoothgallery which i was able to get to play happily with nextgen. i like smoothgallery because it doesn't rely on flash and because i actually think it looks nicer than then normally over-utilized swfplayer. i'm also running a crapload of plugins.
thoughts? suggestions? i know it's not strict css and i know it's got a few little bugs in IE6. other than that, any thoughts for a first time blogger?
