[resolved] MiniPosts creating "fatal error," Web site now kaput (2 posts)

I've been using the MiniPosts plugin (http://doocy.net/mini-posts/) for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, yesterday, I couldn't log in to WP and so I deleted all my plugins via FTP and then reinstalled them again. That worked, but when I tried to activate MiniPosts, I got an error message that said "Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error."

Because MiniPosts isn't activated, my Web site has vanished and only one line of error text is displayed: "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: is_mini_post() in /home/.deitda/min/worstedwitch.com/wp-content/themes/almost-spring/index.php on line 33"

Does anyone have any suggestions that could help? I'm using Wordpress 2.6.2.

The only idea I have is to delete every MiniPost I've ever written, but that seems really drastic and it'd be a shame to lose all those posts.

Thanks so much in advance! Any recommendations you could offer would be infinitely appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Jasmin

    I fixed the problem, huzzah!

    Download MiniPosts 2 here:

Leaving this up for posterity, in case anyone else encounters the same problem.

    Cheers,
    Jasmin
