• After upgrading to WordPress 4.0, am unable to upload multiple images, receive “HTTP Error” when using the flashloader. I can use the browse loader to upload images, but would appreciate a fix for this problem. Tried the suggested plug-in “flexupload”, but when I tried to download it, I got a broken link message.

I’m also getting intermittent http errors, and the link didn’t help much. No specific info on http errors.

I’m also facing same issue with WP4. And its on higher priority for me.. Any body has any update regarding this issue?

This problem also occurs at my site: I upgraded to Word Press 4.0 and I always get the same message: HTTP error. Anybody who can help? It’s quites urgent as I run a online shop with wordpress / woocommerce… Thank you!

I have the upload issue since upgrading to 4.0
Happens with the bulk upload or single file upload method
I have disabled ALL plugins and no change
I end up with a grey icon as if it has made an entry but doesn’t have the image

Tried resetting all the folder and file permissions under uploads.
    No change

Tried IE 11, just to make sure it wasn’t a browser (Chrome) issue.
    Same problem

Tried with IE11 from a different computer and internet connection
    Same issue

    same for me.

I have a similar issue, my standard upload test images worked, but a client supplied header didn’t.

It looks like the issue is with having single quotes in the filename

    Mine wont upload any images.
I’ve renamed them to very simple names.
Tried uploading images that have already been uploaded, renamed first.
    It just wont make it

jscooksey, Can I check the issue on your server. Will tried to fix it

    Same problem here.

I’ve detected another problem related at the Media section:
I’ve uploaded some pictures today (getting a HTTP error) and now that pictures are duplicated SEVERAL times at the Media section, but they don’t appear duplicated at the uploads folder, vía FTP.

    Crazy and frustrating.

I’ve been getting an ‘http error’ message since yesterday while trying to upload images to my post. That’s all it says.

I’m not sure if this is a plugin issue or an wordpress 4.0 issue. I honestly don’t remember if I updated anything in the last few days for this issue to suddenly erupt.

I’ve contacted my web host provider as well as my internet provided both has said everything looks to be running fine from their end. In fact one of the technicians from the hosting service had me email the image I’ve been trying to upload to them and they were able to do from their computer.

Not totally sure where to go from here. I appreciate your help!
