Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
With the alignment, do you mean the entire table or just the text in the columns?
That would be possible with
.tablepress-id-1 th,
.tablepress-id-1 td {
text-align: center;
}
.tablepress-id-2 th,
.tablepress-id-2 td {
text-align: right;
}

Tobias
Hi Tobias, I am a complete beginner in all of this and just want a table to create a restaurant menu. It’s a simple, two column table and so far it seems to work OK. My problem is, I just want to right justify the right hand column (or the cells in that column) so that the price of each item displays correctly
Thank you
James
Hi James,
thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.
To right-align the right hand colum, you would use
.tablepress-id-123 .column-2 {
text-align: right;
}

Tobias
Thank you very much for the information. Sorry to sound stupid, but do I paste this into the Custom CSS box?
Thanks again!
James
Hi James,
yes, that would go into the “Custom CSS” textarea. Also, the table ID needs to be adjusted as necessary in that code.

Tobias
Hi,
no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
