Hi There,
I intended to add a password field but was concerned that having such a field would capture a password in plain text in the entry, exposing peoples password.
Encrypting the password before save would make it unusable without a processor for a purpose. So I did not include it.
I do however have a password field that comes with the user registration addon (not yet available) since this encrypts the password and does not save the a plain text version.
If you don’t mind me asking, what do you need the password field for?
Thanks a lot for this plugin, I could not believe it when I stumbled across it, so much features, far better than most paid form plugins and its free!
I am thinking of how it would be possible to collect data from a logged in user, and displaying such user specific data to the same logged in user but on a different page. Please can you help?
I have an addon I’m working on called Caldera Views (or something like that) .
Alternately if you know how to code, you can look at the developer docs for ways to make your own. Still working on it so its growing slowly.

Please when I create a new form after updating the form it mulitiplies itself, meaning when I hit the form that on admin I see multiple of the same form. when I delete one the form and try to delete the other it just won’t delete
Sorry I missed this message. Are you still having an issue?
Yes I am still having the issue, and I just updated too. I noticed that when I create a new form it doubles itself after creation. When I delete one of the forms and try to access the other I will find it empty, if I try deleting the empty second form it never goes away. I have 3 such now in the form admin area
Would it possible to get access details for me to take a look?
Hi David, I have a slightly different spin on this; For me, I’d just as soon not store the password at all under Gravity Forms submission data, or maybe have a short retention policy, but upon submission of the last page of a registration form, I use confirmations to send all form data to a secure page which then takes all of that data and creates a payment account for the user with all of their travelers configured and ready to go.
This was working just fine until a short time ago, probably when I last updated WP and plugins on that site, but all of a sudden, the password is no longer able to be passed into the query string, or even into the confirmations email window.
I read above, though, and I see your dilemma, so maybe I’ll fall back on an auto-generated password, and let the user know to change it upon first login.
Thoughts?
