Unfortunately your question is beyond the scope of the normal (free) support for this plugin. Of course you can modify the plugin yourself, it is free software (as in free beer and in free speach). Our plugin is relatively simple, but you will probably need to dive into WordPress/BuddyPress documentation to find what you need.
If you wish, we can extend this plugin for you. I have sent you more details in the email.

This sounds like a great feature request. I would like to be able to choose ANY field in the WP DB and not just the wp_usermeta.

Sure, I’d love to do that. I wonder what you mean by “any” field – not all fields are related to users. Please contact me at mail at carloroosen dot nl.
For example, I have some custom tables and fields in my DB from other plugins or just from creating my own tables manually with data outside of the wp_usermeta table. It would be nice if I could select and map various fields with an interface.
