• How can I add a “nofollow” attribute to the links on my navigation bar and my category list in my sidebar? I want to stop page rank from flowing to certain pages and I was told that disalowing them in a robots.txt file still allows page rank to flow. Can someone help me?

  • You got bad SEO advice. It’s best to leave these sort of pages accessible to robots for link discovery, but you can put something like meta noindex on them if you are worried about duplicate content. Page rank sculpting is a waste of time, and nofollow is mainly meant for possibly spammy user submitted links. Focus instead on content development, link building, and basic SEO. If you aren’t already using one, I’d recommend a WordPress SEO plugin.
