   i cannot for the life of me figure out how to manage my tags with v2.6.1 right now there are two tags in my cloud tag.

   1) Culture ( 3 )
   2) cultures ( 7 )

   how to i make one tag = culture ( 10 )

   I don't believe the tag cloud knows that cultures is the plural of culture so you'd need to delete cultures from the 7 posts and add culture instead.

   previous WP additions in management mode gave us the option to change existing tags with one menu. newer addition, we can still do it but it requires us to seek the incorrect tags, one post at a time, delete, etc. more labor? yes?

   I believe that plugins like Simple Tags might do a better job of batch editing tags if that's your need.

   i reactivated simple tags. i don't remember why i deactivated in the first place. i thought was giving me validation errors but that is not case at this moment.
