Hi port2906 have you added your PayPal email account to the plugin settings? If you don’t have a PayPal account then you can’t use this plugin and you will have to create a PayPal account.
If you do have a PayPal account then you will receive the funds from any transaction carried out in your website via your PayPal account which will send you an e-mail letting you know of a sale transaction.
You can also check a transaction notice in your Cart Orders on the admin side of the plugin.
Let me know if this helps you.
Kind regards
Yes! That helps immensely. Do I just put in the email attached to my PayPal account into Settings -> PayPal Gateway Settings -> PayPal Email?
Hi please see the following URL and focus on the third image.
Thank you
My settings menu looks different than that. Is there a way to do a test purchase?
Hi, yes your settings menu will definitely look different. That menu shows other plugins installed, you don’t have to worry about the menu. If you want to carry out a test enable sandbox testing.

Hi port2906, how are you coming along with your issue?
Is there a guide for testing PayPal? I am a bit confused as to how the testing works.
Thanks so much for your help and your interest!
I figured out how to create Sandbox accounts, but am unsure as to how I receive or claim payment. In addition, when I pull up the PayPal checkout screen, it lists my personal email address in the top left corner. Is there a way to remove this? I would rather it display my business name or email – or nothing at all.
Never mind, I figured out the name issue. I just need help with the testing.
Thanks again for your help!
Hi port2906 try the following URL even though it refers to the Pro version of this plugin. The procedure is still the same.
Regards
That worked! Thank you so much mbrsolution!
I am happy to hear 🙂
