   I talked my administrator of the hosting server and he said that for security reasons that all files have to be read-only. There can't be no files that have execute permission. Can wordpress function under this type of environment? Or do certain wp files require execute permission?

   Any info on this , or where to find it would be greatly appreciated.

   PHP will need execute permissions I believe.
