   I'd like to allow the user to submit their own story or poem or article. And it would then be on display, like a forum. Is there a wordpress plugin that could allow this?

   Could you just allow them to write a post? So give them a login and allow them to be a contributor or author.

   I guess my idea is to have a simple text box displayed on the front page, and users are then capable of submitting a post which automatically shows up beneath the text box located on the front page.

   I was going to suggest the same plugin, TDO Mini Forms.

   Recently I tried this plugin and it works well so far in my early testing.
