  • I wrote a new support thread here:

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/event-information-list-event-hover-info-month-browser-problems?replies=1

    I still have this problems

In the 0.73 the only problem was related to the month browser

I was able to revert to 0.7.3.1 by simply deactivating and then deleting 2.0.1 and then uploading 0.7.3.1, installing it and activating it. All my calendars were showing as usual.

I reverted to 0.7.3.1 because the Next link was broken in the later versions. It’s working now, but I can only seem to use the calendar in a widget, but that’s ok for now. Hoping the Next link gets fixed so I can go back to the features of the 2.0 and on.

I just reverted to 0.7.3.1 because the feed would no longer display information beyond October 10th. Tried clearing the cache, making a new feed, uninstalling/reinstalling the version 2 plugin, but nothing.

    Still working fine with 0.7.3.1.

Hello, I had upgraded to 2.0.6, but I have reverted to 0.7.3.1 because I need to be able to display past events within specific date parameters. I’m wondering if the loss of this feature was perhaps an accidental oversight?? I see that it is available on this screenshot – https://s.w.org/plugins/google-calendar-events/screenshot-5.png?r=1011069 – and was also mentioned in this recent support post – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/limited-results-from-past-dates – but the “retrieve events from” and “retrieve events until” options were not possible in 2.0.6.

Here is a link to the page where I am using this plugin. http://teelin.com/TIDC/performance-schedule/

There are two feeds displayed on this page – one shortcode displays all performances in the current season from current date through end of season, the other shortcode displays performances from start of season up to current date. There is a link at the bottom of the page which displays a separate page with a shortcode for all of the previous season year.

Thanks for the instructions. We reverted back to v0.7.3.1 due to two issues we ran into with v2.0.6 as noted here:

Thanks for your hard work at resolving these things…it’s a terrific plugin when everything’s working!

    Cheers,

    Rich

Everything worked great until I did the update this morning. Then the plugin widget and the page I had created as a calendar told me there were no events to show. I tried deleting the feed and recreating … but still no luck. I’m using WP Version 4 and I don’t have many plugins installed. I’ll try reverting to the old version.

… I deactivated all my other plugins but still got the “No events to display” error. I don’t have time to do the revert right now, but will look at it later.

I was getting a “no events to display” error with version 2.0.6.1

Sorry for the new issue everyone. We’re scrambling to fix it now. It may even be a feed format change on Google’s end. We’re not sure quite yet.

We even reverted to 2.0.5, which was working for most folks, and it’s now broken as well.

If you’re desperate than you can revert to 0.7.3.1 temporarily (see top of this thread).

This is top priority for us today and we’ll push a fix as soon as we find it.

    Thanks for your patience.

I just updated to 2.0.6.2. At first I thought it was still broken, but then I cleared the cache and the calendar listings returned. Good work on squashing that bug! Thank you for an awesome plugin.

Thank you for working on the update, I thought I broke something yesterday.

I have noticed that the Date does not show on the List widget. As the text defaulted states “Event On” looks great on the grid mode, but not list, because there is no date listed. Is there a code that I need to add [start-date] for this to show?

    Please see the website link.

I had to revert to 0.7.3.1 because after I updated, only grid style widgets would display, and most of my site uses event widgets. I tried creating a brand new feed with a new calendar, and still the event widget would show “no events to display.”

xtineonline, I refreshed the cache and it worked well without recreating/editing.

The most recent update, Version 2.0.6.2, resolved both of the issues that I mentioned earlier (referenced here). Everything is working perfectly now!

    Thanks!!

Update to my update above…I spoke too soon. v2.0.6.2 resolved one issue (W3 Total Cache error) but did not correct the warning. Rolled back to v0.7.3.1 for now.
