   I wanted to back everything up so I could then upgrade.

   My old backup plugin is no longer supported, so I grabbed a new one. Went to the plugin tab, and when I clicked "activate" on the new backup plugin, I was taken to a blank white page. Every single page in my dashboard and my public blog itself is now loading as totally empty - no HTML in the source at all.

   I can't decide whether to throw up or cry or install the latest version of WP without a backup and hope it's all okay. Help?

   Okay - so I deleted the plugin using FTP and the blog is back. Yay! But I still need to back everything up. Hmmm. Any suggestions for a great easy plugin?

   use your ftp client. delete the plugin files that you just uploaded.

   If my blog was that important to me I wouldn't rely on a plugin to perform that task. Do it the proper way. :)
