    I installed wordpress on a subdirectory (site/blog)

Q1. Once I start navigating through posts how I get back to the original page/home of the blog (site/blog) without editing the address bar?

Q2. Once I'm done with this post I will transfer it to its own domain name. The goal is to create the whole site in wordpress. What file will the browser look for? index.php? the same way it would look for index.html?

Q3. How are search engines finding these php sites?

Thank you for your time. I've learned a LOT in 24 hours, however still running into some gaps.

    1. Make the header image

a "clickable header" <== that's the saerch keyword you will use to search here in the forums

    2. Which post? Or did you mean the whole WP installation?
Don't worry about the browser. You move the whole installation, you can NOT move one single post! Mandatory reading: Moving_Wordpress
On a normally set server the index.php works just as any other index file.

    3. Because they are smart. And they don't care what file type you have.
