  • I’m not sure I understand what you mean. There should be no problem.

If the tag does not exist it will be created automatically. In this case the Slug (the URL parameter) is equal to the tag name – only special characters are stripped down. You can change the Slug afterwards in Posts->Tags.

If the tag already exists the existing tag is used with the defined Slug.

Usage of Slug works since hashtagger version 1.2. Do you use the actual version?

Removing the hash will never be an option – using hashtags is what this plugin is for.

I’m using the last version, I just add it 3 days ago.

Did you try to use #tag(slug) that already exist and that have a name description made with more word without _

    for example
Tag: office (slug link have to be …./tag/office and for you pluging I will write #office in my new post)

Tag long description “Microsoft Office 2010” (is the title that I will appear when a click on …/tag/office) without _

In only that case on my site #Office will take the post page link them self, ended the the tag destination link (…/tag/office) .

I hope you can understand me now.

Maybe is just a conflict with other plugin I have, so maybe happen just for me.

If in future its happen to someone else and You can solve it, just let me know and I will reactivate your fantastic Plugin
    Thanks in advance

The tag description should have no effect to the plguin. I tried your example and everything works as expected. Could it be that everything is working fine and there is only a mistake? If I understand you right the link is correct (/tag/office) but you see the post. That would be OK if you only have one single post with the tag office and if your theme shows the complete posts on archive pages. Please try to create another post using the same tag and check that.
