My posts don't show under their categories or in the menu

Hi Everyone!

I’m a wordpress newbie and I desperately need your help. Thus far, I’m created a site I quite like and have figured out most of the issues on my own but I have one issue that keeps plaguing me and I just can’t seem to figure it out.

I’ve created a menu, categories, pages and I have 2 public posts and quite a few more scheduled. My problem is that none of the posts show up under their respective category. For example, I’d like my first post about fashion to show up when I click the fashion tab and my second post about beauty to show up on the beauty tab.

I’ve pretty much check all the boxes (at least to the best of my knowledge) but I need some ideas as to what I can do/what to try to resolve this issue.
