I have the problem, that Wordpress isnt sending the mails with the password when someone is registering.
I fixed that by installing register plus.
Now i have the problem that "Forgot Password" is still not sending the mails. I already checked if the php function mail() is working and it works like a charm.
Any suggestions?
BTW i already changed the mailserver in the database but only in wp_options. should i change it somewhere else too?

I am having this problem also, it sucks! It's making me crazy! Have you made any headway with this problem?

yes a little bit. I installed register plus. Now register emails are working, but "i forgot my password" is still not sending any mails

What does one do if they can't remember their password and don't remember which email address is on record at WordPress? Our blog got setup by a third party, and maybe the emails to reset the password are being sent to him. I can't get a hold of him, so I need to know how to retrieve my password if I can't remember the email address associated with the account. My blog address is: http://www.merrymauiweddings.com/blog

I have wp 2.4.8 and register emails are not working. Anyone working to resolve this?
