Support » Plugin: WordPress Popup - Optin Revolution » Not a great plugin

  • I needed a versatile plugin that allowed for easy editing of the Popup. This looked promising. I looked past all the ads. I finally figured out how to edit it. This would have fit my needs except you cannot get rid of the text box. There is no option to not have it be a newsletter signup popup. Popups are used for all kinds of purposes, so why make this plugin (which has potential even if it is clunky and awkward) so limited? Why make inserting images so dang clunky? This plugin is not intuitive at all.

    Hi There,

To get rid of a text box all you need to do is click the red x in the top left of the text box when you’re hovering over it.

We use the wordpress media library because server have different permission on uploading images and there was problems when we first release Optin Revolution so we use the already built in WordPress media library and have not had any problems with permissions on uploading.

I have done a screencast for you to show you how to delete a text box and add an image to the popup.

Version 2 is coming soon and we have a new editor which makes editing 1000% easier.

If you have any problem we are here to help.

    Thanks
