    Hi,
could you please answer the following questions to enclose the source of your issue.
    1. As a “document” do you mean WordPress pages inside the dashboad or public pages?
    2. Is the output of your document empty when the Plugin is activated?
    3. What’s the version of the Footnotes Plugin you are using?

    1. I mean when I click “preview,” the page doesn’t come up for me to view.

    2. Huh — Plain English, please 🙂

    3. Just downloaded before using it yesterday — whatever version it up there.

    Hi Pastor Sherry,

as we need additional information to troubleshoot your issue, we’ve come up with an idea to put a diagnostics section to our plugin. This should happen later this week with an update of the plugin.

As soon as this update is published, I’ll let you know here and we’ll get back to you.
With the help of this diagnostics section, we could extract the required information to try and reproduce your issue.

    Stay tuned, Pastor.

    Hi Pastor Sherry,

would you please update to the latest version (1.4.0). We have inserted a new tab called “Diagnostics” to obtain information over the entire system. Please read these diagnostics in your WordPress installation and share it with us.
(Only if the Plugin is still not working)

    Thanks in advance.
