I should specify that it’s not that I can’t upload images EASILY, it’s that they don’t show up AT ALL. My food blog is missing pictures..which is kinda pathetic. Would appreciate help. Thanks!

It’s been weeks and this still doesn’t work. I cannot load new pics when jetpack is activated. Please help.
Here is an example of a page that SHOULD have a picture but doesn’t. If I look at the text created for that page, you can see a referene to it, but when it posts, there’s no picture. When I de-activate Jetpack, all of a sudden, the picture shows up. Unfortunately my site uses Jetpack to collect subscribers, otherwise I’d leave it deactivated. But that’s not an option for right now so I really could use your help. It’s a FOOD blog. With no pictures. What’s the point?

Went to a restaurant called Roti Chai in London. Very highly rated, very disappointing for me. The food was overly sweet and not very indian-tasting to us. But this lamb burger turned out to be just fine. I need to try to reproduce this. Of course, if you’re eating low carb, not so much with the bread for you. Hi! It sounds to me that your site is having issues with Photon. If it takes more than 10 seconds to upload the picture from your server to the Photon CDN, it will time out. The thing is, the image on that page isn’t large at all, so I’m not sure why it would time out, unless your server was ridiculously slow (which it doesn’t appear to be). Would you mind turning Photon on again so I can take another look?

From what I can tell, for some reason, your images are being returned by Photon as 1px by 1px images. They are there, but just so small that we can’t see them. I don’t know why this is, but I do suspect that the “Pinterest Pin It Button For Images” plugin that you have installed may be the culprit. Can you try deactivating that plugin to see if that fixes the issue?
Hi there. I’ve tried everything youvr suggested as well as what the jet pack folks suggested. The bottom line is that I still can’t upload any pics to the site. Irresistible of whether jetpack is activated or not, pics don’t load. Godaddy says speak to WordPress, wordoress says its a jet pack issue, jet pack says its a wordpress issue. :/

Since the problem remains when you deactivate Jetpack, we know the issue is not caused by Jetpack. The next step would be to deactivate all other plugins, one at a time, to rule out any issues with another plugin on your site.
If that doesn’t help, try switching to one of the default themes for a few minutes, just to make sure the problem is not caused by your theme.
If that doesn’t help either, you’ll be left with 2 possible causes:
- Either there is an issue with your WordPress installation, and you’d need to reinstall. You could also install a fresh installation of WordPress on the same hosting plan. If the problem gets fixed, you’ll know the problem is linked to your WordPress installation. If the problem remains, you can move to step 2 below.
- Either there is an issue with your hosting plan, and something is blocking you from uploading files. That’s something only GoDaddy could help you with.

I was having the same problem with my images not showing up on a page when Jetpack was activated. I deactivated it and the images came up again. Since Jetpack would be a nice plugin to have, I reactivated it and went into the Jetpack settings to see which module was causing the problem. It was Photon! I just deactivated that one and the images came back. Thanks for the clue Richard!
