I have installed PMPro User Pages

I have created a page called “Pages”, got that page ID number and added it to the plugins code next to “PMPROUP_PARENT_PAGE_ID”.

I go to http://www.gambiahomeland.com/pages/ and its blank

I then go to http://www.gambiahomeland.com/pages/Simeon2K as the user Simeon2K
    and get this …

Pages for your purchases will be shown below.
    Free Membership (08/26/2014)

    When i click “Free Membership (08/26/2014)” i get ..

Thank you for your purchase. This page will be updated soon with updates on your order.

I thought the user would have a actual page on the site that they can edit themselves for others to see.

What do I do next? Or what else can this plugin do?

Only admins will see something on the /pages/ page.

pmpro user pages creates the page, but doesn’t give users the ability to edit it. It is meant for admins to be able to edit to share info with the users.

You can enable comments on the page so users can comment.

Or many people have used other “let users edit pages from the frontend” plugins with pmpro-user-pages to do something that you might be trying to do.

Ok. I thought the plugin gave the users access to one page that they could edit to show other users/guests a bit about them in a personalised way. Stick pics on there, poetry, what they love doing, etc. A page THEY can edit.

Can you suggest a way they can get access to edit this page?

It doesn’t sound like the User Pages addon is what you’re looking for. Try something with a front end editor for users like Jason mentioned above, or another option could be to use Register Helper’s directory and profile modules.

I have made changes to the code!

When the user now registers, they now get their own personal page as a child of a page called ‘me’ as before. I have installed a plugin that lists pages belonging to the user on the user front end. It only shows their one page they own. They have an edit button allowing them to change their page content.

I’ve edited your code so anyone inside or outside the site can view the users page.

So as a user, I register, get my own page (not a post, which is set to published) , a table showing my page with an edit button allowing me to edit the page and it’s setup so outsiders can view my page that I can edit. I can promote my page to my friends with address http://www.website.com/me/BPusername. My page also appears on a page on the site listing all user pages for the whole site.

Great, glad that worked out for you! I’m going to mark this as resolved now but let us know you if you have other issues.

I already install PMPro Roles plugin and User Role Editor plugin to manage subscriptors capabilities + rtMedia for WP/Bpress/bbPress…any idea if I could be able with these installed plugins to let users at certains levels edit PM Pro User pages?

    Hello!

1_ How can I configure the plugin to create pages for a certain PMPro membership level?

Have you deal with this request before?
