Running WordPress with SSL certificate leads to RSS error

    If I try to add the RSS feed of my SSL secured website (e.g. https://example.com/feed) as a widget I get the following error message:

    RSS-Fehler: WP HTTP Error: SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate

    What can I do, to make it work?

    Same Issues with my website running ssl and having the same error
    Server returned (1, 'error:14077438:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert internal error')

    Could you solve the issue?

    I haven’t found a way since then… 🙁
