How to set up blog community?

    Hi everyone

    I want to set up a free blog hosting service to make a blog community on my site. I want to offer blogs on my site with the following url format:

    http://blogs.crossmap.com/username

    I want to create one DB and one installation of WordPress for each user. However, because they have access to PHP, they can access files of other users by doing an “include “../username/wp-config.php.”

    Is there a way I can create a safe, hosted, wordpress blogging community? Has it been done?
