Hi,
You can accomplish what you need with:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/wholesale-pricing-for-woocommerce/
Think of it not as a discount, but as a variation from some standard price you set (perhaps even unseen by a customer…).
Thanks for this plugin! It’s still one step more from what I would need (I have to count the discount, instead of just entering the specific price), but so far it’s the only solution I found at all.
Also, is the discount applied before or after adding the tax? I ask, because I usually need to show price with tax for regular customers, and without tax for VIP…
Is it possible to import price rules from csv?
If I manage to solve this issue, there’s no reason for messing with Prestashop…:-)
Hi,
questions answered:
(1) before/after tax – however you’ve set the product up to be entered and displayed, vis-a-vis taxes, is how the plugin handles the taxes..
(2) if you need to charge or not charge tax by role or user, that will be available in another plugin, http://wordpress.org/plugins/pricing-deals-for-woocommerce/ , with it’s next major enhancement in a few weeks.
(3) no csv import…

Hi,
thanks for great support.
Is there a button when browsing a product to go to specific pricing for that product?
I mean I would find editing all the prices on one screen much more user-friendly than having to enter product on one screen and than go to another plugin to add a specific price…
Am I missing something?
Thanks!
Hi,
Pricing Deals is a rule-based plugin. So all pricing changes are controlled by those rules. Economy of scale would be better achieved (rather than having 1 rule for 1 produt/role combo), would be to determine what products share a discount for a given role, and combine them in a plugin (custom taxonomy) category.
Take a lot at the documentation:

Thanks for great support.
I seem to have managed to add a specific price field for each role directly to the variations tab in product adminstration.
Here’s the code, seems to be working after short testing:

It was quite easy, would be cool if you added something like that to you plugin – I would buy it for sure, as it offers really great possibilities for the price!
Hi,
This functionality is scheduled for the Pricing Deals plugin, but is some months away…

Cool, as soon as this is implemented, I’ll buy the plugin right away!
Thanks!
Hi,
I’ve gone through this discussion and it seems like the Customer Specific Pricing plugin meets most of your needs.
This plugin allows you to set the specific price for individual customers, user roles, and groups too using the Groups plugin. This is possible for both Simple as well as variable products.
Hi, thanks, since that I wrote my own plugin for this – it allows to add discounts or set specific prices for user groups at shop, category and product level…:) But the Customer Specific Pricing also looks very cool!
