That is very weird. I have never heard of an issue like this before. Is it possible for us debug your issues by a link?

hi, i’m afraid not, but these are two screenshots, one each select menu.
the first option of the select menu turns red on mouseover, also when i click on the pulldown, the arrow change direction, but that’s all, menus won’t open.
i’m using Virtue theme, which has a conflict on post pages with the standard WP’s [video] shortcode (that’s the reason for JW Player), but frontend theme shouldn’t have anything to do with backend, i reckon.
here’s a snapshot of the poster image menu and this is one for the template menu.

other details: this happens both on Firefox (31.0) and Chrome (36.0) on OS X

We have never heard of this bug before. Going to need to test ourselves.
I have the same thing happening.

JWPlayer plugin – v2.1.13
when I change the template to 2014 the drop down boxes work, but when I change it back to Virtue they don’t work anymore. Other dropdown boxes work, but not in the media page.
If I click Edit More Details, which takes to a page not the hovering javascript window, the dropdown box for image still works.
It seems to be something with the window that pops up when clicking on a media file.
Please email support a link for debugging.
