   Hi,

   I am trying to install WP on Bluehost and am receiving the below error. I have checked the wp-config.php file for spaces and didn't find any. Unsure why else this may be occurring and was hoping for some additional guidance... Thanks in advance for any help.

   I believe you checked the config file... but I amafraid not in the right way.
   regardless what you think - there is a space, empty line or some odd characters before the starting <?php in the config file.

   How are you editing the file? What OS, what editor?

   Vista Home Premium and I am using Expression Web..... I will try using notepad or something to see what is there......

   I checked the file in Dreamweaver as well and I am still not seeing anything showing up.... How would you suggest checking this file??

   Another quick question... BlueHost has a Simple Scripts option that allows you to install WordPress quick and easy.... Is there a drawback to utilizing this feature thru them vs manually installing?? I prefer to manually install this, but thought I would ask.

   there is no problem in using the auto installed :) its more safe and fast, but installing manually, is something that you can enjoy :)

   EW and DW are both not suitable to edit WP files. Notepad or any other plain text editor.
