[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Image Input on public side

    Is there any way to allow people to submit their images via a submit window on the main page? It seems that I can use NextGEN only for my own images. I may do something wrong, but NextGEN does not create a window for uploads, correct?

    No, there isn’t (as far as I’m aware of). And that’s a good thing!

    You usually have limitations (traffic, storage) with your blog and if anyone can upload to your blog, you may soon run into severe problems. This is for very, very important security reasons rather an advantage.

    If someone is supposed to be able to upload pictures, it has to be via specific roles only.

    I agree, it’s very insecure to allow public upload and require a lot of security checks.
