   I see that people were testing current 2.7 branch, but I don't see it at official repository. Where can be new version found?

   2.7 is the "trunk" version.

   Yes, I checked readme file in the trunk and it was still having 2.6 version in it, so I thought trunk is still 2.6.

   Readme means nothing :P
   You always have to check wp-includes/version.php

   Trunk has 2.7 .... obviousily
