  • It looks a little blank and unprofessional. The cache is good on it! I would suggest maybe adding a background image (with the Background Manager plugin or something like that). I would also add some more color like in your logo or something (the black, blue and white are a little plan).

Thanks matthew, for devoting your time.

I will try to make it professional. I am thinking of adding some images as well.

Thanks again and any further suggestion will also be appreciated.

    Hello Vikas Yadav,

This site has an unfinished look like it is still in development. Nothing is “catching the eye” so to speak. Sadly I would have to say that you have a long way to go – adding a background image would help, changing your template would help as well, but overall at the moment you simply have a plain WordPress installation and some articles.

Thanks for your honest opinion @ Lagarder7

Actually, yes my website is still in development process. But according to me I had complete a large part of it.

But now it seems I will have to give it a new look. As you told that nothing seems “catching the eye”. I will try to make it more colourful.

    Thanks again

The site contains only two or three posts as per my view, categories are too left blank.
I may think Logo will make good attraction to the visitors.
Subscribe widget should be in sidebar as the readers need to find more news from your articles.

    Thanks British traveler.

This site contains around 70 posts.

I inserted a logo but it appears on the top of even my site title. It may be because of the theme I am currently using.

I am changing the position of “subscribe widget”.

    Thanks a lot again.

    hello guys,

I have inserted a background image and have added subscribe widget to the right sidebar, as you people suggested.

    Hope you would like it.

If you have any other suggestions, please tell me.

    Thank you guys

    Hello there,

IMO, I would change the background image because it makes reading difficult.

The background image you chosen makes it look like a Techno trace music site. That’s not appropriate for a finance site.

Worse than that though your homepage is written like an ‘about us’ page and is in very bad English. Who would trust a finance site written such poor English.

vikaswp, your website looks a lot better now that you changed the theme.

    Thanks a lot guys.

change the font type of your headings. You can play a lot with font styles! You use Imprima for your headings and for your regular paragraph text’s. but let me tell you, on such a subject like financial assets or something you can use pretty fonts with serifs or just another one without serifs if you are one of the people who think serif is only appropriate for print media.

But as I said… using the same font type for every text on your website is not advised and proper design codex:)

all the best for your project!

uff, and you’re using other font’s for your sidebar. That’s something (personally) I would not do! I would keep posts and sidebar consistent, because it causes kind of disturbance… rather the same font type for headings and the same for all paragraphs… I think this really is what stared me in the face…

    Thanks maltehelmhold

I will change the font style. Actually, these font styles are default and I didn’t choose them for my website.

If you have any further suggestions, please feel free to tell me.
